Bloodbath
Bloodbath's lineup reads pretty much like a "who is who" in Swedish Metal. And Bloodbath is pretty much the definition of Death Metal. Each of their members are well known musicians: Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth) on vocals, Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Nightingale, etc.) on drums, Anders "Blakkheim" Nyström (Katatonia, Diabolical Masquerade) on guitar, and Jonas Renkse (Katatonia, October Tide) on bass. During a period, 2004-2005, in which Mikael Åkerfeldt had to spend more time with Opeth, Peter Tägdgren (Pain, Hypocrisy) jumped in as the lead singer of Bloodbath. Bloodbath are world famous and the epitome of compromiseless, brutal, straight in the face Swedish Death Metal!
