The idea behind the The Dead Goats was born during the last european tour of grindcore monster Neuropathia in July of 2010, when the perspective of band’s hiatus became imminent but the notion of abandoning the 90’s Stockholm sound was out of the question. Hence, the bassist Marcin Jaworski, the drummer Radoslaw Pierscinski and the guitarist Pawel Bartulewicz met again towards the end of that year to seize the idea and forge it into a monster, so at the beginning of the year 2011 the band officially came to be. Few months of not-so-extensive rehearsals brought the material which would later be known as “Path of the Goat” which received much critical acclaim, gathering almost exclusively postitive reviews in Polish press as well as international one. The album was featured at some of the summaries of best records of the year, and Terrorizer Magazine called it “some of the most compelling and headbangable Swedeath since the term Swedeath became a viable word” while awarding the album a highest possible score.
The ever-growing passion of preaching the swedish way made 2013-2015 quite busy years, with The Dead Goats collaborating with various bands and labels, which gave birth to 12” EP, CD-R Demo, 7” split EP, 12” split LP/CD, MCD/7”, playing a goodly amount of concerts in Poland, Czech Rep., Germany, Netherlands, Belgium & Rep. Of Ireland, including shows with Napalm Death, Nasum, Black Breath, Calm The Fire, Icon Of Evil, In Twilight’s Embrace & many others.
The band has recently finished writing & recording process for the 2nd full lenght album entitled „All Of Them Witches” to be released by German label Testimony Records in July 2016.

From the press:
Voices from the darkside:
„To play this style of Death Metal is just attitude and passion when you got the brillance of what ENTOMBED, CARNAGE, DISMEMBER did in the late 80s / early 90s. It's composed by an instrumental introduction and eight songs of pure Swedish Death Metal with strong Crust / d-beat influences. A minute description would be hard and maybe useless, not for their fault but because the level of the whole album is unvarying and medium-high. However, 'Dwarves In My Coffin' and 'Into The Fiery Grave' are probably my favorite tracks here. I have to tell you, horror maniacs over there, that they also tribute the evergreen Lucio Fulci's 'Zombie' theme on the final song, 'The Gloom That Came To Salem'. This band is able to build songs with some very good riffs and they got the climax when there is a perfect balance between aggressive and melodic parts, with the ivenitable chainsaw guitar sound of the BOSS HM-2. So, don't except nothing different than Swedish Death Metal the way it has to be, not a masterpiece or a new fundamental chapter of the genre, but a good album for fans of classic bands like NIHILIST, GODDEFIED, NIRVANA 2002, INTERMENT, or younger acts like NOMINON, BASTARD PRIEST, UNDER THE CHUCH, BASTARD GRAVE, REVEL IN FLESH, MAIM, ERODED (ITA) and so on.
