DORO: CD baptism with fans from around the world in Hamburg. "Raise Your Fist" issued on October, 19th

2012-09-27 01:00 - "A record production always also resembles a birth. You invest a lot of blood, sweat and tears in the studio until the album is finally in stores. Each studio album is therefore like a child to me," says Doro Pesch.

The new „baby“ is called „Raise Your Fist“ and was produced in various studios in New York, L.A., Denmark and Germany, and will be released on October 19th. The baptism was already celebrated now, along with the whole band and 200 die hard DORO fans from all around the world.
DORO’s new record company Nuclear Blast introduced the first available copy, while DORO donated a bottle of champagne. Then the copy of „Raise Your Fist“ was batised by champagne, at the official fan club meeting at the famous „Markthalle“ in Hamburg, Germany. Fans from US, Scandinavia, Southern Europe, UK and even Marocco came, to celebrate along with the metal queen.
DORO was more than happy: „It was a great event and now that the baby is batized, nothing else can happen. I have a good feeling.“
Soon after the release of the new record, DORO will come on tour again, all across the world in autumn and spring. „There will be at least five/six new tracks in the set, cause in my opinion this material is among the best songs I have ever written.“
All the blood and the sweat has paid off once again.
