ACCEPT - Announce European Tour!
2010-09-27 - It's a rarity that a band manages to surprise so many in such a short time. Their new album Blood Of The Nations has not only received endless accolades and reviews across the globe, it has easily become a candidate for top hard rock album of the year 2010. ACCEPT have also become a hot topic of discussion among the metal cognoscenti with their amazing return to the metal stage. The "Big Bang" in the international charts was a logical conclusion!
Blood of the Nations earned the band their highest chart debuts in their history. This is not just another rock band, this is the German metal pioneers ACCEPT we are talking about, a band that has achieved world wide acclaim throughout their long history and has long become a leader in the German metal scene. This is a band that started out in the small town of Solingen and conquered the world! Their endless tours have crossed the planet, playing sold-out shows alongside such hard rock luminaries as AC/DC, Kiss, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue, Dio and Iron Maiden.
Let's jump to the present:
Sensational success stories are arriving almost daily from all over the world over the last few months. ACCEPT was the main support for AC/DC in Germany, they headlined the Sonisphere Festival in Istanbul and Bucharest, achieved #1 at the MySpace "All Genre" Video Charts, reached the Top 25 in the US iTunes charts, #12 in the European Billboard and #35 worldwide. ACCEPT managed to crash Twitter and received press coverage in the pages of Financial Times, BBC World, CNN, NY Times, Spiegel... this incredible list can go on for pages!
Now that ACCEPT have completed their highly successful European warm-up tour and are finishing up a warm-up US Tour, they are ready for the next hammer announcement. After their October appearance at the prestigious 45,000 seat Loudpark Festival in Japan, ACCEPT can now confirm their extensive European Tour to start in early 2011!
The 28 announced dates in support of Blood of the Nations will span Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Finland, Norway, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, France, Belgium, plus some planned shows for Russia and UK as well. ACCEPT is back and on the prowl!
