MELECHESH – reveal “The Epigenesis” cover artwork & release date!

2010-08-05 - Sumerian thrashing black metal legends MELECHESH just released the cover artwork for their long awaited fifth album "The Epigenesis"
The cover art was done by the UK based renowned occult artist John Coulthart , who had previously collaborated with MELECHESH.

Commented Ashmedi: "The art was meticulously discussed over several phone calls and John like a real credible artist worked in utmost professionalism while having a real short deadline. The cover art perfectly represents our music and themes. It portrays an occult, mystical Near Eastern/ Mesopotamian atmosphere while strictly adhering to a non cliché standard. Aside from the mutual understanding between myself and John, The Golden Ratio principle was the starting and defining point for this sublime art, I am extremely satisfied with this cover art ."
