PSYCROPTIC - new track online!

2008-08-21 - Tasmanian Tech Death masters PSYCROPTIC have uploaded a brand new track to their MySpace page (www.myspace.com/psycroptic). The song Immortal Army Of One has been taken from Ob(Servant), the band’s first album for Nuclear Blast Records and fourth overall. Drummer Dave Haley comments:Immortal Army Of One is one of my personal favorites on “Ob(servant)”. The riffs on it are catchy as hell and stick in your head, and it is a very brutal song. Yet, it has a lot of dynamics throughout and is quite technical. It’s very PSYCROPTIC sounding, yet there are a lot of new sounds and ideas introduced. Just an all round cool track both to listen to and play.Lyrically, the song explores the the idea of a suicidal god like being – one who has omnipotence yet wants to relinquish it. A twisted thought - a being who has the choice to do anything desired, except giving up such a power; all powerful yet powerless at the same time.Ob(Servant) will be released on October 24th!
