Don't worry - your CD-player isn't broken and this is no misprinted CD. What blasts out of your speakers, is actually music by SATYRICON. The Norwegians got their "The Dawn Of A New Age", which appeared previously on their latest longplayer "Nemesis Divina", remixed by Apoptygma Berzerk, who gave the black metal song a completely new approach with some weird industrial sounds. With the support of this sound magician and Anders Odden (ex-Cadaver), a daring industrial version of the Motörhead classic "Orgasmatron" was created. The new recording of "The Dark Castle In The Deep Forest", which is entitled "Night Of Divine Power" on this EP, shows that the Norsemen are still capable of playing first class black metal without overambitious technical gimmicks. As a special bonus, this extraordinary CD offers a live version of "Forhekset" which was recorded during their last European tour in Essen/ Germany.

But one thing is for sure - with this CD, SATYRICON do justice to their leading role within the scene. So enjoy this EP and get curious for the next album.
